About the Editor
This newsletter is edited by Andrew Chambers, author of ten current management books, and general editor of International Journal of Auditing. He is professor emeritus of City University, London where he was dean of their business school, and until the end of 1998 was Professor of audit and control at the University of Hull, England. He is, or recently has been, a non-executive director of four very different enterprises; a listed company (whose audit committee he chairs and to whose remuneration committee he belongs and has chaired); a general hospital trust with a turnover of £(UK) 50m; an international professional body and a small, young computer services company employing 30 people whose board he chairs. He is managing director of Management Audit whose mission is to improve corporate governance and audit.
